    World Trigger Wiki
    (Redirected from Oji)

This page is about the character. For other uses, see Kazuaki Ōji (disambiguation).

You think that you can win because I can only use one hand against you? It's not that I look down upon you, but you're not as strong as you might think.

Kazuaki Ōji to Osamu Mikumo, in Chapter 157. [1]

Kazuaki Ōji ((おう)() (かず)(あき), Ōji Kazuaki ?) is a B-Rank Attacker, and the captain of Ōji Squad. He is a former member of Yuba Squad.

    Appearance[edit | edit source]

Ōji is a young man of average build with light brown, medium length hair parted in the middle, flipping out at the ends. He has blue eyes with visible bottom eyelashes.

In his default Trion Body, he wears his standard squad uniform.

Outside of his squad uniform, he often wears collared shirts with ties—even during phase one of the Away Mission Test.

    Personality[edit | edit source]

Ōji is a perceptive and scheming individual. He also has a habit of giving others weird nicknames. He acts in a princely manner, appearing to be a purposeful reference to his surname, as he was the one to request Kittaka to make the icons he uses in his explanations,[5] which depict him as a handsome guy with a prince's crown.

According to Ashihara, he must be an idiot if he portrays himself as such.[5]

    Nicknames[edit | edit source]

Ōji's known nicknames for people are listed below.

    Quotes[edit | edit source]

    • (To Osamu) "You think that you can win because I can only use one hand against you? It's not that I look down upon you, but you're not as strong as you might think. '[1]
    • (As a commentator for Round 8) "Looks like... a stalemate for the time being. I wish I'd brought something to drink. "[23]
    • (Thoughts during Round 8) "So close, Ossamu. If only you'd gone for more of a spreadshot. If only you had more experience as a shooter... "[24]

    Trivia[edit | edit source]

    • Ōji (王子 ?) is the Japanese word for "prince", while "Kazuaki" (一彰 ?) is made of the symbols for One, and Patent.
    • He likes omelettes, croissants, horses, and chess.[3]
    • He is left handed as he uses Hound with his right hand and Kogetsu with his left[25][2]
    • His Japanese Voice Actor, Akira Ishida, doesn't voice anyone else in the series.

    20. 20.0 20.1 Daisuke Ashihara: Q: Of all the nicknames Ōji has given people, what are his top three?
A: He doesn't think too hard about them. He just sort of comes up with them in a very Ōji-esque way. Two that have become popular are "Mikamika" and "Pokari," and the one that's spread the least is "Jackson" for Wakamura.
