Shin Kazama (風間進, Kazama Shin ?) was the older brother of Sōya Kazama.[4]

Shin has a close physical resemblance to his brother - they have similar facial features and both have spiky black hair, with Shin's being a little shorter.

Background[edit | edit source]
At a certain point in time before the start of the series, he joined Old Border and was Branch Chief Rindō's pupil. He later participated in the mission around five years ago which killed him and nine of his friends.[5]
Border Enlistment Arc[edit | edit source]
Shin was mentioned by his younger brother Kazama.[4]
B-Rank Wars Arc[edit | edit source]
When asked by Osamu about the current whereabouts of the members of Old Border, Yuri points doesn't point out Suzumura as he was one of the ten who died.[5]

- "Kazama" (風間 ?) is a Japanese surname meaning "among the wind", while "Shin" (進 ?) means Advance.
- In a photograph of Old Border, Shin is depicted standing next to Rindō.[6]
