Kyōko Sawamura (沢村 響子, Sawamura Kyōko ?) is the Assistant Director of Border HQ and a former Attacker.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Sawamura is a tall young woman with black eyes and dark purple hair that reaches past her shoulders. Being a high-ranking member of Border, she wears the standard uniform; a black, buttoned suit with a striped necktie over a white polo shirt and a matching black skirt. She also wears black clogs.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Sawamura is very serious about her job. She doesn't take sexual harassment lightly, as shown by her outburst when Jin groped her. She promptly called out his actions, and when he offered his assistance as an apology she kicked his leg, saying she didn't need his help.[7] She is infatuated with Shinoda, but hides it due to mission priority.[8]

- "Kyōko" (響子 ?) means "sound child".
- "Sawamura" (沢村 ?) means "swamp village".
- She likes supporting the General Manager, exercising, and broiled chestnuts.[4][5]
- Her Japanese Voice Actress, Hōko Kuwashima, also voices Rei Nasu.
- Her English Voice Actress, Carol Anne Day also voices Mirai Hatohara.
- Azuma was given the option to become assistant director but declined, leaving the position to be taken up by former attacker Sawamura [9]

A: The plan was to appoint either Azuma or Sawamura, and as Azuma declined, Sawamura was chosen.
