Large-Scale Invasion (大規模侵攻 Daikibo Shinkō ?) is Chapter 44 of the World Trigger Manga.
Short summary[edit source]
The large-scale invasion begins. A new Trion Soldier makes its first appearance.
Long summary[edit source]
As multiple gates open in the Danger Zone, immediate evacuation is called for any people situated near the emergence area. Osamu urges Chika to stay behind with the evacuees while he and Yūma head toward the neighbors.
In headquarters, Sawamura relays information about the positions of the Trion Soldiers. Shinoda decides to send agents to the east, south, and southwest to intercept these soldiers while relying solely on Amō and Jin to control the west and northwest. Kinuta works with Fuyshima to set traps in order to delay the progression of the Trion Soldiers until the arrival of the field agents.
The B-rank squads Suwa Squad, Suzunari First, and Azuma Squad report in after they arrive at the scene and commence a counter-attack. But as Azuma squad kills the last Trion Soldier in their area, another Trion Soldier emerges from one of the defeated corpses.
