Tamakoma Second 9 (玉狛 第二⑨ Tamakoma Dai-ni 9 ?) is Chapter 138 of the World Trigger Manga.
Short Summary[edit | edit source]
Tamakoma Second engages Katori Squad in battle while Kakizaki Squad watches from the side.
Long Summary[edit | edit source]
Katori goes headfirst at Yūma, much to her teammates' dismay. They are locked in a high-speed battle, with no side having a clear advantage. Teruya asks Kakizaki if she should ambush them, but Kakizaki denies the offer. Their plan is to attack the weakened enemies as a unit. Chika climbs a tall structure to establish a good sniping position. Taketomi asks why Osamu has not attacked despite being in a good position, and Izumi informs her that he was waiting for Katori to come to him. As his words indicated, Osamu begins shooting as Katori gets nearer, though the only thing this manages to accomplish is forcing Wakamura and Miura to get to her faster. Katori decides to target Osamu instead, and she leaps towards him, only to find herself tripped by Spider. Chika attempts to shoot her, but Miura blocks the attack with a Shield. Unfortunately for him, Chika used a Lead Bullet, which weighs down on him significantly. Wakamura arrives, and Yūma springs towards him, using Spider to change his trajectory and deeply cut Wakamura's shoulder. Katori decides to move position, and cuts off the part of Miura's arm that contained the Lead Bullet. Taketomi notes that within the short interval between round 4 and round 5, Tamakoma Second has adequately developed new skills. Meanwhile, Kakizaki Squad has regrouped and is going to make their move.
