Aftokrator (アフトクラトル Afutokuratoru ?) is Chapter 54 of the World Trigger Manga.
Short Summary[edit | edit source]
The Aftokrator invaders join the battlefield. Ranbanein quickly launches his Trigger to massacre the B-Rank Squads in the area.
Long Summary[edit | edit source]
Flashback When Replica was explaining the Neighborhood, he mentions that either Chion or Aftokrator were the invaders. He also mentions some things about Aftokrator; they possess horns embedded from birth, which act as Trion Receptors, and that the horns turn black if a Black Trigger is being used. The Trigger's that the horns used greatly exceed common Triggers in power.
Flashback End
Back to the present, during the invasion, Viza and Hyuse come to Osamu's area, Enedora rendezvous with Kazama Squad, and Ranbanein reaches the B-Rank Units. They all manage to identify that they are from Aftokrator due to their horns, and Kazama realizes that Enedora possesses a Black Trigger due to his black horns.
During Ranbanein's battle, he is attacked by Taichi Betsuyaku and Haruaki Azuma. He proceeds to attack them, but Chano Squad interferes. Ranbanein proceeds to instantly destroy them. They try to defend using the shield, but his attacks are able to bypass shields, and they have their Trion Bodies destroyed and are forced to use Bail-Out. He then reveals his Trigger, Chelidon, and prepares to attack.
He starts shooting at Azuma and Taichi, and manages to hit Taichi. He is about to kill Azuma, but the members of Arafune Squad shoot at him, though his Trigger protects him from their shots. Chelidon then shapeshifts, becoming rocket launchers located on his back. He then uses it to shoot the snipers but one of them manages to escape.
Kuruma, seeing it, becomes scared. Tsuneyuki reports about the humanoid Neighbor, and says that Chano Squad and Betsuyaku were defeated, and so were two members of Arafune Squad, and asks for support. Kakizaki Squad then appears and Kuniharu Kakizaki says they won't be able to help the B-Rank agents. Ranbanein claims that things won't be as boring since there were more than expected.
