Chika Amatori 2 (雨取 千佳➁ Amatori Chika 2 ?) is Chapter 13 of the World Trigger Manga.
Short summary[edit source]
Yūma and Chika get acquainted with each other, and a shocking discovery is made about Chika. Unfortunately, danger is lurking just around the corner...
Long summary[edit source]
Osamu starts telling Yūma about Chika's side effect, but Replica suggests they move as there are Border agents in the vicinity. They go to a shut down train station, and Osamu formally introduces Chika and Yūma to each other. Yūma talks about how trion soldiers are usually seeking trion, so if Chika has a lot of trion then it would make sense for her to be targetted by trion soldiers. Yūma offers to have Replica measure her trion. Osamu goes first, and after confirming that it's okay he tells Chika that she should do it too.
Yūma pokes fun at Osamu, asking if he has a crush on her. Osamu reveals Chika has trauma stemming from not being believed despite her friend being taken by Neighbors, so to protect others she keeps to herself about them. As she is Osamu's tutor's little sister, Osamu feels the need to protect her.
Replica finishes with Chika's measurement, and they are surprised to see a gigantic cube. It now makes sense why the Neighbors are targeting her. Replica suggests they take her into Border custody, but she doesn't want to cause any trouble.
Suddenly, Miwa and Yoneya arrive on the scene with hostile intentions.
