“ | Well, a massacre is only a figure of speech, but I'm really starting to want to move my body a bit. Big bro... No, captain. | ” |
–Ranbanein to Hyrein in Large-Scale Invasion 3.[1] , |
Ranbanein (ランバネイン ?) is a Neighbor from Aftokrator.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Ranbanein is a tall neighbor with long, messy red-brown hair and light green eyes. Like all other Aftokrator neighbors, he has two horns on his head. He has goat-like horns and a broad nose.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Ranbanein is a carefree and fun-loving individual, who has a liking for fighting.[4][5] He also seems to have a lot of respect for Hyrein.[1] He is very arrogant in battle[6][7], but is able to admit his defeat and praise a strong opponent.[8]
According to Azuma[9], Ranbanein knows his strengths and weaknesses and fights rationally.[10] Despite his brutish appearance and his tough talk, he is a thinking fighter[11] to the point he was able to figure out Midorikawa's and Yōsuke's were only diversions for Izumi's attack whilst being attacked by the former.[12] he has been shown to not act recklessly[13], actively covering his blind spots[14], thoroughly planning his attacks.[15][16]
