Takuma Yuba (弓(ゆ)場(ば) 拓(たく)磨(ま), Yuba Takuma ^?) is the No. 2 Gunner and captain of Yuba Squad, as well as one of the twelve candidates for the Black Trigger Fūjin.

Appearance

Yuba is a tall, light-skinned young man. When he is in his trion body, he wears a pair of yellow-tinted half framed sportie shooting glasses and has his hair slicked back. He wears a black shirt underneath a white long-sleeved jacket with an upturned collar. He also wears a pair of black boots with brown pants held by a white belt with revolver holsters attached to each side.

His civilian clothes consist of a dark-colored long-sleeved shirt with dark-colored pants. He also wears a regular design half framed glasses and kept his hair down parted in the middle.

Yuba's handgun triggers are unique as they are in the shape of revolvers, matching his cowboy-style quickdraw shooting.

Personality

Yuba comes across as a very intense, imposing, and serious individual, almost aggressive in his no-nonsense attitude. Nonetheless, his behavior on certain occasions can be defined as over the top. His speech is coarse and his tone rough even when he is moved by good intentions. He does not take kindly to tardiness.

Trivia

• "Takuma" (拓磨, "Takuma" ^?) is written with 拓 ("expand, open up, support or push", 拓 ^?) and for 磨 ("grind, polish, rub or wear out", 磨 ^?), while "Yuba" (弓場, "Yuba" ^?) means "bowing site".
• Jin referred to Yuba with the suffix -chan, implying closeness. Kirie Konami also referred to him by a term of endearment.
• According to Volume 21, he likes;
