Yuu Kunichika (国近 柚宇, Kunichika Yuu ?) is the Operator of Tachikawa Squad.
Appearance[edit | edit source]

Kunichika is a young girl of average height. She has smooth, shoulder-length auburn hair, with has tufts of messy hair pointing outwards, and her fringe is parted to the left. She also has brown tareme eyes.
She is usually seen wearing the regular Operator uniform with a pink sweater.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Kunichika is playful and laid-back, as evidenced by her time as a commentator during Round 6 — and unlike her teammates, a neutrality towards Yuiga. She is shown to be an "older sister" figure and the voice of reason in her team, such as stopping fights between Izumi and Yuiga.[5] She seems to be a geek, as indicated by the vast collection of video game consoles in her room.[1][6]

- She likes Ishikari Nabe (a type of hot pot from Hokkaido), buttered potatoes, and all types of games.[3]
- Kunichika's mother is from Hokkaidō.[7]
- Her Japanese voice actress, Umeka Shōji, also voices Mizunuma, Itsuki Fujisawa, and Yūko Kumagai
- her English voice actress also voices Yōtarō Rindō, Kasumi Mikumo, and Katori's Mother.

Daisuke Ashihara: Q: Is Kunichika from Hokkaido? (trans: a reference to the fact that her favourite food is ishigari nabe/salmon hotpot, a traditional Hokkaido dish)
A: Her mother is. Her parents would send salmon hotpot sets, sea urchins, crabs, salmon roe and so on to them. Everyone eats them together.
