Miwa Squad (三輪隊, Miwa-tai ?) is the A-rank #7 squad in Border. It is led by Shūji Miwa.

Introduction Arc[edit source]
Miwa and Yoneya investigate the aftermath of Yūma Kuga's fight with the Bamster.[1] They are told that they were the first squad on site, leaving the two agents in confusion. In the anime, Narasaka makes an early debut when he is seen requesting protection for the 3 idiots.[2]
Miwa and Yoneya come across Osamu Mikumo, Chika Amatori, and Yūma while they are measuring Chika's trion and falsely assume that she is a Neighbor.[3] After Yūma admits to being one, they start attacking him. Although they seem evenly matched at first, with both Yoneya and Narasaka inflicting damage onto Yūma, they are eventually overpowered by Yūma's Black Trigger and withdraw after seeing that Yūichi Jin has a connection to him.
Black Trigger Capture Arc[edit source]
Miwa Squad, along with members of Tachikawa Squad, Fuyushima Squad, and Kazama Squad are sent to take Yūma's Black Trigger by Kido. However, they are met with opposition from Jin and Arashiyama Squad and break into their respective battles.
Large-Scale Invasion Arc[edit source]
Miwa Squad does not fight as a cohesive squad, but all members participate in battles throughout the arc. Yoneya fights Ranbanein with Kōhei Izumi, Shun Midorikawa, and the combined B-Rank squads.[4] The snipers, along with Isami Tōma, engage Hyrein with the support of Tsukimi before Mira interferes.[5] Afterwards, Miwa takes on Hyrein and Mira and plays a vital role in helping Osamu reach Headquarters.
B-Rank Wars Arc[edit source]
Galapoula Invasion[edit source]
Narasaka and Kodera are a part of the sniper forces sent to the roof to take out the Idras. Yoneya and Miwa engage with Koskero.
Round 8[edit source]
Miwa, Kodera, and Yoneya are seen watching the final upper group match together. Following the conclusion of the match, they go spectate the final middle group match where Narasaka has been commentating.[6]
Away Mission Test Arc[edit source]
Of the members of Miwa Squad, Kodera is the only one to participate in Phase 1 as a part of the temporary squads. The other members of Miwa Squad takes part in evaluating participants.
