Yūma Kuga (空閑 遊真 Kuga Yūma ?) is Chapter 2 of the World Trigger Manga.
Short summary[edit | edit source]
Yūma and Osamu are walking away from the site of the neighbor attack when Miwa and Yōsuke arrive, wondering what happened.
Long summary[edit | edit source]
Two A-rank agents from the #7 A-Rank Squad arrive to the scene after the neighbor was destroyed. Yoneya comments on the damage, saying it must be someone from A-Rank to which Miwa agrees with, His Operator tells Miwa that there was no squads who arrived before them which confuses Miwa and asks who could of done it.
Osamu runs after Yūma, Osamu then loudly asks about what Yūma means by he is a neighbor as he thinks they are the giant things but he explains that those are trion soldiers. real neighbors are humans just like the people on meeden but then says he has nothing to do with the attacks and mentions that there are many types of people on the other side.
Yūma then says he is hungry, and draws unnecessary attention to him by pulling out a huge stack of bills when asked by Osamu if he even has money. The two run to a quieter part of the city, but are still confronted about the money. When Osamu is punched, Yūma retaliates by breaking the guy's leg before handing him enough money to cover medical costs. Osamu scolds him, but Yūma comes back with a good point that leaves Osamu speechless.
Osamu leaves Yūma lone for a couple minutes to get food, and in that time Yūma is confronted by another group of dudes who he beats up. He proudly states that he didn't break any bones this time, but Osamu says that he is being too violent. Yūma explains that Japanese laws and customs are confusing, and that Osamu will have to teach him more about them.
Not paying attention, Yūma step out into the road and gets hit by a car. Osamu and the driver freak out, but Yūma is fine.
