Ōji Squad[edit | edit source]
Kazuki Kurauchi[edit | edit source]
Ōji and Kurauchi were teammates both in Yuba Squad as well as currently in Ōji Squad. This implies that they have a strong friendship and are quite accustomed to fighting together. Kurauchi visibly respects Ōji's leadership and plans[1].
Yutaka Kashio[edit | edit source]
Ōji appears to have faith in his younger teammate's abilities. After Osamu takes Kashio out, Ōji appears to avenge him by taking out Osamu very viciously, although that might simply be Ōji's nature.[2]
Haya Kittaka[edit | edit source]
Ōji and Kittaka have a good team relationship and are likely friends, as he has no reservations about asking Kittaka to draw strange icons to represent Ōji Squad members and their opponents.[3]
Yuba Squad[edit | edit source]
Takuma Yuba[edit | edit source]
Ōji's former captain. Despite being no longer in the squad, he is still on good terms with him.[4]
Tadaomi Kanda[edit | edit source]
Ōji's former teammate. They appear to be friends, as Ōji attends Kanda's farewell dinner and brings him flowers. He appears to hold Kanda's abilities as a fighter in high regards, as he admits to wishing he had surpassed Yuba Squad when Kanda was still a member.[5]
Yukari Obishima[edit | edit source]
Kazuto Tonooka[edit | edit source]
Others[edit | edit source]
Tatsuhito Ikoma[edit | edit source]
Ōji is quite familiar with Ikoma and his fighting style, easily predicting his actions in Tamakoma Second vs. Ōji Squad vs. Ikoma Squad. As Kurauchi mentioned, Ōji Squad has fought Ikoma Squad many times. Before the away exam, Ōji listed Ikoma as someone he would like to work with, reason being he finds the other attacker interesting.[6]
Hiro Kitazoe[edit | edit source]
Ōji and Kitazoe are classmates at First Mikado City High School in class 3-B.
Rin Kagami[edit | edit source]
Ōji and Kagami are classmates at First Mikado City High School in class 3-B.
Nozomi Kako[edit | edit source]
Before the away exam, Ōji lists Kako as someone he would like to work with due to finding her interesting.[6]
Ryūji Saeki[edit | edit source]
Before the away exam, Ōji lists Saeki as someone he would like to work with due to finding him interesting.[6]
Katori Squad[edit | edit source]
Ōji has nicknamed each member of Katori Squad with foreign-sounding names.
Osamu Mikumo[edit | edit source]
Ōji seems to regard Osamu as a considerable threat, since his strategy in the rank war Tamakoma Second vs. Ōji Squad vs. Ikoma Squad was to target the shooter as a top priority. During the rank war when they come face to face, Ōji intimidates him and takes him out mercilessly, commenting on Osamu's actions and reminding him rather harshly that he has a long way to go before he can be considered strong. Later, he comments that Osamu's lack of experience as a shooter is his downfall in Round 8, but spends a lot of his commentary almost rooting for him, and claiming to understand his strategies.[7] The two have been compared before as both thinking before acting.[2]
