    Tamakoma Second 16 ((たま)(こま) (だい)()Tamakoma Dai-ni 16 ?) is Chapter 151 of the World Trigger Manga.

    Short Summary[edit source]

Ōji Squad decides to target Osamu in the upcoming Rank War to prevent him from setting up Spider wires. Tamakoma Second, predicting that the other teams will target Osamu. Hyuse attracts attention due to his status as a member of Tamakoma Branch, while the upper echelons discuss the future of Hyuse.

    Long Summary[edit source]

Ōji announces that the team strategy will be to target Osamu, reasoning that leaving Osamu loose would allow him to set up wires, giving Tamakoma Second the advantage. At the same time, Osamu predicts that he will be targeted by the other teams due to Spider. He decides to use Bagworm while setting up Spider, while ordering Chika to hide and snipe while Yūma supports her. Meanwhile, Ikoma Squad talks about the cafeteria's expanded menu. Kashio asks what to do if Osamu uses Bagworm. Kurauchi responds that they should go to different places to see where Yūma would get defensive, and that's where the wires would be located. If Yūma uses Bagworm, then nothing changes. Yūma asks if he should defend Osamu should Osamu be found. Usami instructs him not to because that would reveal his location. Ōji tells his teammates that if Osamu cannot be taken down, then they and Ikoma Squad would pincer them. Kashio decides that no countermeasures against Ikoma Squad would be needed since they have fought them multiple times before.

Hyuse attracts the attention of his fellow enlistees due to the way he stands out. The echelons of Border discuss him. Netsuki expresses his frustration about letting Hyuse join Border. Karasawa argues that it was necessary in order to ensure Chika's cooperation. Netsuki agrees with Osamu in that Hyuse will be a useful guide, but is concerned about what Hyuse will do when they reach Aftokrator. Karasawa responds that they can simply deal with him before that point, much to the shock of Netsuki and Kinuta. There was an implicit agreement to this because neither party brought this point up. Kinuta uses the specific wording Kido used to find a loophole which can prevent Hyuse from joining the expedition, even if it means failing Tamakoma Second in the expedition test. Karasawa, listening to this, notes to himself that rules are in the adults' hands, and the real struggle begins here for Tamakoma Second.

Kunichika, Kitazoe, and Tōma serve as commentators for the Round 6 Rank War which begins shortly after.
