Hanzaki is an exceptionally skilled Sniper, one of the very few known to be capable of hitting an immobile target from one kilometer away[1], as well as to snipe through the gaps in Hyrein's Alektor shield.[2] In battle he can shoot the head of a moving target without difficulty[3] thanks to his extremely high accuracy; his accuracy is so well known that particularly daring opponents can turn it to their advantage by creating a focused Shield to protect their head.[4]
Hanzaki ranked 4th in stealth and target acquisition training,[5] which suggests that he is proficient at stealth. Although, like most Snipers, he is very vulnerable at close range, Hanzaki has demonstrated to possess quick reactions, which, coupled with the knowledge on Yūma's's moves acquired through the logs[6], allowed him to just barely survive a strike from the latter.[7] His reactions were however not fast enough to allow him to dodge Ranbanein's attack.[8]

Daisuke Ashihara: Q: What distance is the limit for a Sniper Trigger to hit its mark?
A: If it’s an unmoving target, someone who is good at premise sniping like Narasaka or Hanzaki can hit the mark from 1km away with an Egret. An Ibis or Lightning’s range will be shorter.
