–Kyōsuke Karasuma about himself, in Tamakoma Branch 2. |
Kyōsuke Karasuma (烏丸 京介, Karasuma Kyōsuke ?) is an A-rank agent, member of Tamakoma Branch and Osamu and Kitora's mentor. He is a middle range All-Rounder and member of Tamakoma First.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
He has shaggy black hair and golden eyes. Usually, he wears a white v-neck shirt under a turquoise jacket, a hand-me-down from Jin, with jeans.
When in Trion body, he gets an outfit resembling Yūma's C-rank uniform, but his jacket is teal with black stripes whereas Yūma's is black with white stripes, in addition to black padded gloves.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Karasuma is a laid back, friendly individual, just like Jin; he likes to tease Konami, and makes fun of her frequently. In battle, though, he becomes very serious, completely focusing on his goal. He is also quite responsible and, as stated by Jin, "He is a good teacher."[8] He has a colder side to him and rarely seen smiling. He constantly makes up small lies to get a reaction from Konami. He is also incredibly popular in Border HQ during his time there, having multiple diehard fans with Yoko Katori being a well-known fangirl of his.
Quotes[edit | edit source]
- (About himself) "I'm the scruffy hottie. Nice to meet you." [9]
- (After lying) "I lied."
- (To Osamu) "Those who lack the tools remain cautious. You won these two matches because you didn't get into a poorly-planned firefight and focused on manipulating the situation." [10]
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- His nickname comes from the fact that his surname, a combination of Crow (烏, Karasu ?), a bird species, and Maru (丸 ?), looks very similar to Bird (鳥, Tori ?) and Maru (丸 ?), which is pronounced Torimaru (鳥丸 ?).
- According to the Volume Extras, his jacket is a hand-me-down from Jin.[11]
- Karasuma was part of Tachikawa Squad before transferring to Tamakoma. [12]
- He likes family and tonkatsu.[11]
- He came 8th in the first Character Popularity Poll.[13]
