Hanao Tsukimi (月見 花緒, Tsukimi Hanao ?) is a B-rank Attacker and a member of Yoshizato Squad.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Tsukimi is a light-skinned young woman of average height and build. She has dark hair worn in a bob haircut with a fringe. Like her teammates', her uniform emulates a basic tracksuit style, combining a high-collared, zipped sweater with a single white line running along its sleeves with darker pants and a black undershirt[1] (maroon in the anime).[4] Border's logo is located on the outer side of both sleeves, roughly around the halfway point of the humerus.

Introduction Arc[edit | edit source]
Yoshizato Squad was presumably involved in the extermination of all Rads in Mikado City.[5]
B-Rank Wars Arc[edit | edit source]
In the round one bottom-group Rank War Match, Hanao's Squad, Yoshizato Squad goes against Mamiya Squad and Tamakoma Second. They are easily taken down by Yūma.[6]
Abilities[edit | edit source]
As a B-rank agent, Tsukimi should be individually more powerful than C-rank trainees. Her Squad is strong at standard tactics.[1] However, all three members were single-handedly taken down by Yūma[6]before they could show their true capabilities.[1] it should also be noted that the databook mentions that the entire squad needs to raise their skill level.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- "Hanao" (花緒 ?) means "flower thread". "Tsukimi" (月見 ?) means "moon viewing".
- It is possible Hanao was voiced by Yuri Noguchi, who also voices Fumika Teruya. Hanao was still unnamed back when she appeared in the anime, but Yuri Noguchi was credited as an unnamed agent in the same episode.
- Although her full name was revealed in 2016's Border Briefing File, which also lists an unnamed younger sister in Ren Tsukimi's relatives, their family level wasn't confirmed until 2021 in Volume 23's Q&A. The same happened with Hiro Kitazoe and Hidetaka Kitazoe.

A: In terms of boys, she gets along with her cousin Narasaka, Kodera (Narasaka's mentee), Zoe...for some reason, and Utagawa (who's friendly with Kumagai)
Among the ladies, she's on good terms with the girls who attended Seirin Girls' Academy for high school, including Teruya, Konami, and An Kobayakawa, and Hanao (Tsukimi's little sister. And other film buffs, like Risa Maki.
