    World Trigger Wiki
    (Redirected from Ouji Unit)

Ōji Squad ((おう)() (たい), Ōji-tai ?) is the B-rank #5 squad led by Kazuaki Ōji. At the start of the current season, they were ranked 5th.

    Members[edit | edit source]

    Plot[edit | edit source]

    Background[edit | edit source]

    • Ōji and Kurauchi both used to be members of Yuba Squad. Due to wanting a team of his own, Ōji separated and made this squad together with Kurauchi. Even now, they are still on good terms with Yuba Squad.

    Introduction Arc[edit | edit source]

Ōji Squad presumably takes part in the extermination of all Rads in Mikado City.

    Large-Scale Invasion Arc[edit | edit source]

Due to Masafumi Shinoda preventing B-rank squads with missing members from fighting against Aftokrator's forces out of fear of capture, Ōji Squad is presumably one of the Squads missing a member.[6]

    B-Rank Wars Arc[edit | edit source]

Shinoda assigns Ōji Squad and Ikoma Squad to hold down the flank during Galopoula's Invasion in the case of a feint.[7]

Ōji Squad goes against Ikoma Squad and Tamakoma Second for their Round 6 match. They take first blood with Kashio causing Minamisawa to bail out,[8] however they are also the first team to get wiped out.[9] They end the round with 3 points, giving the win to Tamakoma Second.

Ōji and Kurauchi commentate during Round 8, where they briefly talk about their own match.[10]

Away Mission Test Arc[edit | edit source]

All combatants participate in Phase 1. Ōji is assigned to lead Squad 2, Kashio is chosen by Mizukami for his Squad 9,[11] and Kurauchi joins Murakami's Squad 10.[12] As there are more operators than shuffled teams, Kittaka is one of three operators to help with A-Rank evaluation.

    Trivia[edit | edit source]

    • They apparently went up in the ranking again despite losing at round 8.[3] This could be an error.

    6. Daisuke Ashihara: Q: Why couldn't upper B-ranks like Ninomiya Squad or Kageura Squad participate in the Second Large-Scale Invasion? Did they travel far away on their time off?
A: It seems I lost the chance to draw it in the story itself so I'll write it here: "HQ Chief Shinoda gave the order that B-rank and lower agents are not allowed to participate in the fight until all members of the team are present". It seems he was worried about agents acting on their own and getting captured by Rabbits. Of course, there are also teams like Kako Squad who was late to the fight because their captain went out on a drive on her time off.
