B-Rank Wars Arc[edit | edit source]
Sometime during the B-rank wars, Kusakabe Squad, along with Katagiri Squad, were out of town for recruiting new members in other prefectures.[1]
After they return from the business mission, Osamu takes up the chance to seek guidance from Satomi regarding his upcoming opponents.[2] Later, Satomi is seen walking away with Saeki and Uno.[3]
Squad Formation & Tactics[edit | edit source]
Kusakabe Squad is known for using their mobility to attack the most vulnerable targets.[4]
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Kusakabe Squad is currently the only known squad led by an Operator.[5]
- Their emblem is probably a reference to the myth of the Basilisk, which is alternatively represented as a rooster with a dragon's head or as a giant snake, or the Cockatrice, which is commonly represented as a snake with a rooster's head, but also as a rooster with a snake's head.
- Saeki's Character profile says Kusakabe quickly rose up in the ranks.[6]
