Truth and Lies (真実と嘘 Shinjitsu to Uso ?) is Episode 61 of the World Trigger Anime.
Short Summary[edit source]
With one day left before another planet nation passes by, Osamu and the others discuss their next move. Meanwhile, Giev grows desperate and launches an attack on Border's Training Camp.
Long Summary[edit source]
In Giev's dream, Dr. Lamia tells him about Lilith and Xeno, and instructs Giev to hate Xeno. He then wakes up in the middle of a forest, and hears Charon speaking with someone. The two converse about Giev’s dream, and although he shows concern as to how he ended up there he moves to take Xeno down.
There is one more day until Xeno and Lilith can leave earth. Tamakoma and the Ergates Neighbors discuss battle plans in the case that they are attacked before Xeno and Lilith’s departure. Lilith expresses her desire to stay on Earth, but Xeno shows hesitation about that and Kizaki tells them that it is a surprise that HQ hasn’t demanded the two to be handed over. Usami says that they might just turn a blind eye. Unfortunately, that is not the case as we see the upper brass discussing their capture. Rindō and Jin intervene, and Jin brings bad news.
Giev and Charon attack Tamakoma First at the training facility. Kizaki is confronted by Giev, who sends trion soldiers on the three of them. Meanwhile, Tamakoma Second and the others are hiding in the dark somewhere. Tamakoma First pushes the trion soldiers back, but then Giev summons more Scares and sends them to attack the agents. Xeno wants to go confront Giev, but Osamu and Yūma talk him down from it.
Tamakoma First gets taken out one by one, and Giev’s trion soldiers break into the facility. However, no one is inside. Charon discovers their hiding spot in the haunted house, and the two decide to go there. Giev is intercepted immediately by Tamakoma First, getting trapped by Karasuma’s Escudo. He snaps, and self destructs. Usami loses contact with Tamakoma First, and Lilith gets up. Giev has disabled the power grid in Shizuka City, and Headquarters is concerned for good reason. Konami expresses confusion as well.
Lilith appears before Giev, and the latter goes crazy. It appears that Giev takes the entirety of Shizuka City hostage, but actually it’s Charon and Dr. Lamia’s work. Giev is forcefully transformed into another generic trion soldier.
