Miwa Squad (三輪 隊 Miwa-tai ?) is Chapter 14 of the World Trigger Manga.
Short summary[edit | edit source]
Osamu, Chika, and Yūma are confronted by two members of Miwa Squad. The two attack Yūma with intention to kill him.
Long summary[edit | edit source]
Miwa and Yoneya arrive at the scene, and after seeing Chika getting her trion measured by Replica, they falsely assume that she is the Neighbor that they are after. Osamu tries to clear up the misconception, but then Yūma admits to being a Neighbor. Miwa shoots at Yūma, and tells Osamu that it is his job to kill all Neighbors after Osamu turns to him in outrage.
Yūma, completely unharmed, gets back up asking Miwa what would have happened if he was a normal person. He then asks about Jin, and Yūma and Osamu tries to tell the A-Rank agent that he is acquainted with Jin. This does not discourage Miwa, and he tells Osamu to stand back or be eliminated. Yūma is the one who tells him to back off, because he thinks he will be okay on his own. Miwa and Yoneya get ready to fight him, and when Miwa says it is just the two of them against him Yūma calls Miwa out on his lie. This puts Kodera on edge, wondering how Yūma was able to detect them. However, Narasaka calms him down by saying that Yūma is just bluffing and that he made no indication of knowing of their presence.
Yoneya attacks Yūma with his spear, and though Yūma is sure he dodged the attack he suddenly has a shallow neck wound. Osamu panics and calls Jin for help, and Jin reveals that he is watching the battle go down. The chapter ends with Jin telling Osamu that Yūma won't lose to Miwa Squad.
