    Masafumi Shinoda
    		Shinoda was the swordsmanship teacher of the No. 1 Solo Fighter, Kei Tachikawa, and is hailed as the strongest man at HQ with a Normal Trigger.[1] Although he specialises in dual-wielding,[2] he was able to overpower Enedora, a Black Trigger user, with only one Kogetsu, cutting down all his blades before they could reach him.[3] He first uses it in Chapter 70 (Episode 31 in the anime).

    Kei Tachikawa
    		Tachikawa is generally regarded as the second best swordsman in Border only after his teacher.[1] With it, he rose to the rank of No. 1 Attacker[4][5] and Solo Combatant[6][7][8], even surpassing Jin's No. 2 placement despite the latter's Side Effect.[9] However when Jin was still using Kogetsu they were about tied with Tachikawa having more wins[9], until the latter along with Michael Cronin made Scorpion[10] which made them even, but it should be noted Tachikawa had more wins overall.[9] He can fight with either one or two, switching to the dual-wielding style taught to him by Shinoda.[2] His single-wielding style alone caused him to win 5 times out of 6 against Hyuse,[7] and cause the latter to admit that swordsmen of that level are uncommon even in Aftokrator.[5] Tachikawa first uses Kogetsu in Chapter 25 (Episode 13 in the anime).
    Ryūji Saeki
    Futaba Kuroe
    		Futaba is highly skilled at using Kogetsu being able to parry the attack of one of Yomi's Idras without taking damage, unlike Sasamori.[11] She combines it with Idaten to boost her attack.[12] She was first seen with it in Chapter 81 (Episode 35 in the Anime), however she doesn't use it until Chapter 129 (Episode 75 in the Anime).
    Shūji Miwa
    		Miwa's swordsmanship is stated to be first class[13], additionally being the No. 3 All-Rounder[14] he must be at least 6,000 points with this trigger, showing proficiency. He swiftly draws it and approaches the enemy to get past their defenses when Asteroid is not sufficient.[15] He has shown to be able to attack continuously while moving and dodging, even from very difficult positions.[16] His style consists in slashing at the opponent as soon as he gets into range, using a fast paced barrage of attacks that leaves the enemy no room to retreat or counter at their preferred pace.[13] He can also wield Kogetsu together with his handgun to expand his options.[17] Hyrein commented that even though Miwa knew about Alektor, it was still impressive that he managed to cut him.[18] Miwa is first seen using Kogetsu in Chapter 14 (Episode 7 in the anime).
    Yōsuke Yoneya
    		Yōsuke's spearmanship has been stated to be without equal in Border.[19] Additionally he has almost 10,000 points[20] with this trigger, showing mastery. His Kogetsu is a variation of the normal Kogetsu that consumes less trion[21], and he can extend or shorten the length the handle of the spear[22], which he uses in narrow places.[22] Yōsuke's fighting style mainly consists of jabs[23][24][25][26] and slashes[27][28] at the opponent with one[23][25][26] or both hands[24][29], and in addition he sometimes uses either Senkū[30] or Gen'yō[26][28] in combination with his Kogetsu. Yōsuke first uses Kogetsu in Chapter 14 (Episode 7 in the Anime).
    Kyōsuke Karasuma
    		Since, being an All-Rounder[31], Karasuma has scored at least 6,000 points with Kogetsu, it can be inferred he is proficient at using it.[32] His level of skill is unknown but, by using it in conjunction with Geist, he was able to take down a Rabbit in one strike[33] and pressure Hyrein, a Black Trigger user.[34] Karasuma first uses Kogetsu in Chapter 74 (Episode 33 in the Anime).

    Shinnosuke Tsuji
    		Tsuji is a proficient enough Kogetsu user to have reached Master Class with it. In a first to five match, he managed to score two wins against Hyuse,[35] whose swordsmanship at the time put him on roughly equal footing with no. 6 Attacker Tatsuhito Ikoma,[36] and to maim him in at least one other round,[35] with both Hyuse and Ikoma praising Tsuji's skill.[37][38] Although he is not considered their match, he was able to emerge from brief skirmishes against Yūma[39] and Kageura[40] unscathed, and to suffer only light wounds for the duration of his fight against Koarai and Okudera,[41] whose coordination enables them to defeat most higher-ranked opponents.[42] His preference for wielding Kogetsu with only one hand[43][39][40][44] presumably suggests that his proficiency offset the sword's non-negligible weight,[45] although he has also been seen switching to a two-handed grip on a few occasions,[42][37] such as a sneak attack.[46] Even with a one-handed grip, however, he can cut his way through a wall while in motion[43] and swing with enough force to rattle Koarai's arms despite his two-handed block.[47] Tsuji is first seen using Kogetsu in Chapter 112 (Episode 68 in the anime).
    Hyuse
    		Despite claiming that his swordsmanship has gone rusty,[48] Hyuse is very proficient with this Trigger. He was evenly matched against no. 6 Attacker Tatsuhito Ikoma when the two fought with Kogetsu only,[49] and he also managed to win one round out of 6 against no. 1 Attacker and solo combatant Kei Tachikawa.[7] His final assessment was that his proficiency with a sword would put him somewhere between the No. 4 and No. 8 Attackers.[5] Hyuse is first seen using Kogetsu in Chapter 159 (Episode 85 in the anime).
    Tatsuhito Ikoma
    		As the no. 6 Attacker,[5] Ikoma is one of the most skilled Kogetsu users in Border, as well one of only seven Attackers whose points exceed 10,000.[50] In terms of pure swordsmanship, without the use of other Triggers, he is roughly evenly matched[5] against a rusty Hyuse,[48] who took note of his superiority over Shinnosuke Tsuji.[51] Ikoma was also able to fight on par with Yūma for a prolonged amount of time with Mizukami's assistance,[52][53][54] although the other Attacker instantly gained the upper hand after relocating to a wire zone.[55] He is capable of wielding Kogetsu effectiely with only one hand,[56][48][57] presumably suggesting that his proficiency offset the sword's non-negligible weight.[45] He may switch to a two-handed grip to defend,[53][56] although he can parry also with a one-handed one.[56][57] He keeps the blade conjured at all times.[58] Ikoma is first seen using Kogetsu in Chapter 150 (Episode 82 in the anime).
    Kai Minamisawa
    		Minamisawa is a proficient swordsman whose points temporarily exceeded 8,000.[59] He appeared to have the upper hand on Kashio when they clashed in round six,[60][61] although his opponent might have been giving him ground willingly.[60] Minamisawa is skilled enough to favor wielding Kogetsu with only his right hand[62][63][60][61][64] in spite of its weight,[45] although he switches to two when parrying[65][66] or attempting to land a critical strike.[67][68][69] He is first seen using Kogetsu in Chapter 150 (Episode 82 in the anime).
    Kazuaki Ōji
    		Ōji is quite skilled with Kogetsu, as he is able to wield it with only one hand.[70] He can carry out multiple slashes in very quick succession.[71] He is first seen using it in Chapter 150 (Episode 82 in the anime).
    Yutaka Kashio
    		Kashio appears to be a moderately proficient swordsman, being capable of holding his own against an Attacker[72] who at one point reached Master Class.[59] Since he gave the opponent ground on multiple occasions[72], it is possible that he is less skilled than Minamisawa, although he might have intentionally withdrawn to continue looking for Osamu Mikumo while fighting.[60] He was able to block an attack from Yūma which had been accelerated with Grasshopper, although he was thrown out of balance[73] and lost his arm to the superior Attacker right afterwards.[74] Kashio keeps Kogetsu conjured at all times.[75][76][77], and prefers to brandish the sword with both hands in close quarters combat,[78][72] although he can compensate for its weight well enough to avoid attacks,[79][80] run,[81] and cut wires[82] even after the loss of his sword arm.[74] Kashio is first seen using Kogetsu in Chapter 150 (Episode 83 in the anime).
    Noboru Koarai
    		Koarai is fairly proficient with Kogetsu, having scored over 7,000 points with it.[83] However, he is still severely outmatched by opponents of Hyuse's level of skill, against whom Koarai lost five rounds out of five.[84] Although he is regarded as an average swordsman on his own, his teamwork with Okudera is so refined that together they are deemed capable of defeating most higher-ranked opponents, with Kazama placing their coordination below only his own Squad's.[42] The two lived up to the praise by holding the upper hand against Master Class Attacker Tsuji,[41] who is individually stronger than Koarai.[37] Koarai keeps his Kogetsu conjured at all times.[85][86] He is first seen using it in Chapter 44 (Episode 22 in the anime).
    Tsuneyuki Okudera
    		Okudera is fairly proficient with Kogetsu, having scored over 7,000 points with it.[42] However, he is still severely outmatched by opponents of Kageura's caliber, who defeated him before he was able to react.[87] Although he is regarded as an average swordsman on his own, his teamwork with Koarai is so refined that together they are deemed capable of defeating most higher-ranked opponents, with Kazama placing their coordination below only his own Squad's.[42] The two lived up to the praise by holding the upper hand against Master Class Attacker Tsuji.[41] Okudera keeps his Kogetsu conjured at all times.[85][86] He is first seen using it in Chapter 44 (Episode 22 in the anime).
    Yūko Kumagai
    		Kumagai wields her Kogetsu with both hands, as, although she is capable of putting up a fight by holding it with only one hand, her bladework becomes slower.[88] She is more proficient with a Kogetsu than her solo points suggest,[89] and despite being far less skilled than Border's top Attackers,[90] her guard is solid enough that two of them were unable to break it in a three-way confrontation.[91] She is particularly famed for her counterattacks.[89] Since she frequently blocks enemy swords with her own, she had it modified to include a cross-shaped tsuba.[92] In the match against Tamakoma Second and Suzunari First she spawned without her sword and conjured it only when she thought she would need it,[93] although it is unknown whether this is her preference or if she did so because the circumstances required her to move quickly. Kumagai is first seen using Kogetsu in Chapter 96 (Episode 44 in the anime).
    Yukari Obishima
    		Obishima uses Kogetsu as her Main Offensive Trigger.[94] Despite its weight[45], she appears comfortable wielding it with only one hand[95][96] additionally, being an All-Rounder[97][98], she must have at least 6,000 Points with this trigger showing proficiency. However, the gap in skill between her and Yūma is such that he can dodge all her attacks while holding back.[95] When he started fighting for real, she was capable of clashing with him for a few instants before being defeated by his new move.[99] During their melee during Round 8, she could only defend against a careful Yūma[100] while inside Osamu's Wire Zone even after attempting to trap him inside a Hound Volley; however he claimed she would get stronger.[101] When she was part of assault against a surrounded Hyuse, none of her attacks landed[102], one of which being a sneak attack with bagworm.[103] Furthermore her attempt to attack Kai from behind after the assault failed to land a hit.[66] Obishima is first seen using Kogetsu in Chapter 181 (Episode 94 in the anime).
    Kō Murakami
    		Murakami is extremely proficient with this Trigger, the precision of his strikes matching his high ranking in Border.[104] It is his primary trigger when he goes on the offensive.[105] His swordplay is remarkably fast[88] despite him holding the heavy blade with only one hand.[45] Even when wielding it with his non-dominant one, he proved a dangerous opponent to Yūma and Hyuse.[106] During their confrontation he performed a complex stunt where he threw Kogetsu up from under his shoulder and grabbed it by the hilt from above it an instant later so as to strike two opponents at the same time regardless of the awkward position.[107] On one occasion, Murakami had the engineers change the color of his Kogetsu blade to black so that it would become invisible after the lights in the area were switched off.[108] He is first seen using Kogetsu in Chapter 44 (Episode 22 in the anime).
    Tetsuji Arafune
    		Arafune has reached Master Class with Kogetsu,[109] which vouches for a remarkable degree of proficiency. As a mark of his skill, he was able to wield it efficiently with only one hand[110][111][112] despite its weight[45] and one of his legs being injured.[113] He uses his free hands to hold the scabbard.[109][114] Even though his swordsmanship has deteriorated since he became a Sniper [115] he was able to hold off the likes of Yūma, although he started taking damage shortly after Hokari stopped assisting him.[115] Against him Arafune held his sword with a reverse grip,[109] possibly due to the narrowness of the staircase they were fighting on, whereas he employed a natural grip to dispatch the Dogs.[116] He has been seen combining his swordsmanship with Bagworm[110] and Shield.[114] Arafune is first seen using Kogetsu in Chapter 89 (Episode 41 in the anime).
    Yūta Miura
    		Kogetsu is Miura's primary offensive Trigger. He is fairly proficient with it, having scored over 7,000 points.[117] However, he is not so skilled that he can compensate for the weight of the blade when wielding it with only one hand,[45] and he was defeated five times out of five by Hyuse when they fought.[118] Nonetheless, he has proven capable of fairly impressive parries, blocking Kotarō Tomoe's slash carrying the added momentuum of a multi-storey fall with only one hand,[119] and more remarkably deflecting Yūma's thrust from behind.[120] Miura keeps his Kogetsu conjured at all times, even when it is not in use.[121][122] He is first seen using it in Chapter 123 (Episode 74 in the anime).
    Hisato Sasamori
    		Sasamori is fairly proficient with Kogetsu, having scored over 7,000 points with it.[123] While his skill is lower than that of Master Class Attackers,[124] he has managed to defeat opponents even above that level on a handful of occasions. He won one match out of six against Hyuse, injuring him in at least one other, after observing his fighting style,[125] and succeeded in scoring four wins out of ten rounds against Midorikawa, although by his own admission it was a fluke.[126] He was able to intercept a sneak attack launched by Yomi through an Idra in Manual Mode, although he took damage in the process,[127] and later stalled it with Tsuji assistance without further visible injuty until the end of the conflict.[128] Sasamori is first seen using Kogetsu in Chapter 45 (Episode 22 in the anime).
    Kuniharu Kakizaki
    		Kakizaki activates this Trigger when it is no longer convenient to fight at mid-range[129] rather than have it constantly conjured at his hip; however, he has kept it in existence after switching to his assault rifle on two occasions,[130][131] possibly because he expected to have to pull it out soon. Kakizaki's swordsmanship is impaired when he wields Kogetsu with only one hand.[132] Although he was able to block one of Yūma's attack even after the loss of one arm,[129] he was severely outmatched without his teammates' assistance while inside Tamakoma Second's wire zone.[132] Kakizaki is first seen using Kogetsu in Chapter 141 (Episode 79 in the anime).
    Fumika Teruya
    		Teruya summons Kogetsu when it is no longer convenient to fight at mid-range[129] rather than have it constantly conjured at her hip. She is always seen it wielding it with only one hand while holding the scabbard with the other,[133][134] although her actual degree of proficiency with the Trigger remains unknown. Teruya is first seen using Kogetsu in Chapter 141 (Episode 79 in the Anime).
    Kotarō Tomoe
    		Despite having scored fewer than 6,000 points with it, Tomoe appears skilled enough with Kogetsu to wield it with a single hand despite its weight,[135] although it is unclear if this affects his proficiency. To unbalance Yūta Miura, he held the sword with both hands and struck while dropping from a few meters up in the air[119] before removing one hand from the hilt to draw his gun.[136] However, his swordsmanship pales compared to Hyuse's, against wom Tomoe lost five times without being able to score a single victory.[84] Unlike his teammates,[129] Tomoe keeps Kogetsu conjured at his hip at all times.[137] He is first seen using it in Chapter 139 (Episode 78 in the anime).

    		Despite being supposedly inferior to Tatsuhito Ikoma,[142] Shinoda is an extremely skilled Senkū user, which he can employ in a number of unique ways. Not only he was seen creating the highest amount of slashes in a single activation - four - with a normal Kogetsu,[143] he was able to make his attacks turn in order to avoid Enedra's blades, each swing destroying one of his dummies despite the opponent's retaliation.[144] His Senkū attacks can be used to pierce the target instead of cutting them for pin-point offense.[145] Shinoda is first seen using Senkū in Chapter 70 (Episode 31 in the anime).

    Kei Tachikawa
    		Tachikawa uses Senkū to increase the range of Kogetsu which lets him fight effectively in mid-range.[146] Additionally he can perform at least two slashes within the same activation period.[147][148], however he is supposedly inferior to Ikoma[142] Tachikawa first uses this trigger in Chapter 26 (Episode 14 in the anime).
    Double Senkū Kogetsu (ダブル 旋(せん)空(くう) 弧(こ)月(げつ), Daburu Senkū Kogetsu ?):[149] Tachikawa can activate Senkū through both the main and the sub while wielding two Kogetsu.[150] He used this technique to effortlessly cut down an Ilgar[151], whose already durable armor was further strengthened by initiating self-destruct mode.[152] Tachikawa first uses this technique in Chapter 28 (Episode 15 in the anime).

    		Thanks to his speed, Yōsuke can deliver multiple slashes with this Trigger in a short time.[30] He was able to strike five times within the same activation[30], although it is unknown if he prolonged it and if his custom Kogetsu gives him an advantage in that regard. Yōsuke first uses Senkū in Chapter 131 (Episode 76 in the Anime).

    Shinnosuke Tsuji
    		Tsuji frequently uses this Trigger to strike at an unsuspecting opponent from a distance. He can combine it with Bagworm for a sneak attack,[153] hack at multiple opponents at the same time,[154] or even exploit the elongated slash as a diversion.[155] A well-timed Senkū enabled him to cut off Yūma's hand.[154] He has not displayed the ability to execute more than one slash per regular activation.[155][154][153] Tsuji is first seen using Senkū in Chapter 112 (Episode 68 in the anime).
    Hyuse
    Tatsuhito Ikoma

    		Ikoma was extolled by Jin as the best Senkū user in Border. He frequently scores points with it in rank wars,[142] and it is integrated so seamlessly in his fighting style that activating it when the opportunity presents itself comes naturally to him.[156] Combined with his skill, this extremely powerful Trigger enables him to bypass any and all defenses offered by Border Triggers[157] as well as environmental obstacles, making him a threat even without a direct line of sight.[158][159] Ikoma is one of the few Senkū users capable of executing two slashes[160] within the standard activation time of one second,[161] increasing his chances of hitting the target. However, he shows a marked preference for resorting to his signature variation of the attack,[162][80][163][164][158][165][166] selecting the regular duration only when altering the terrain significantly can put him at risk.[161] Apart from launching lethal offensives, Ikoma's extended Senkū can in fact be utilized to clear away structures,[165] and to prompt his opponents to move in range of his allies.[167] Ikoma is first seen using Senkū in Chapter 157 (Episode 84 in the anime).

    Ikoma Senkū (生(い)駒(こま) 旋(せん)空(くう), Ikoma Senkū ?): By activating Senkū for a mere 0.2 seconds,[168] Ikoma can extend the reach of his Kogetsu up to 40 meters instead of the usual 15.[169] This complex technique, which requires him to swing his sword extremely quickly while synchronizing the slash with the activation of Senkū,[168] grants him unparalleled range among Attackers,[169] as he is the only agent capable of using it.[168] He is consistently shown executing the attack while drawing his sword from a stationary position,[162][170][171][54][166][159][68] a routine that may alert his opponents as to his intentions and facilitate evasion[170][166] or even allow them to strike preemptively.[172] In round eight of the current season of rank wars he first showed off the ability to connect Ikoma Senkū even after being launched into the air.[173] Ikoma is first seen using this technique in Chapter 153 (Episode 84 in the anime).

    		Koarai rarely utilizes this Trigger as he appears to prefer to close the distance with the opponent, especially if Okudera is close by.[174][175] However, he will resort to it to cut down an enemy who tries to escape.     		Murakami seems to rarely rely on this Trigger, preferring to confront his opponent at close range. He can however use Senkū to remove several obstacles with a single swing of his sword and hopefully cut any enemy hiding behind them.[177] This tactic is particularly useful when he fights alongside Kuruma, so that the opponents are left defenseless against the latter's Full Attack.[178] Murakami can also activate Senkū for a lethal counter to pincer attacks, even if one of his opponents is coming at him from behind. When doing so, he seems to reduce the sword's length from the usual 15 meters to prolong the duration of the effect.[106] He is first seen using it in Chapter 172 (Episode 90 in the anime).

    		Yōsuke regularly employs Gen'yō as part of his combat style to change the tip of his spear.[179] He uses it to hit dodging enemies[23] or ones that attempt to block his attacks by transforming the blade to move around the shield[26][19] He is skilled and fast enough to activate this Trigger mid-swing and deactivate it immediately afterwards, which prevents his opponent from understanding how it works.[23] He is generally unable to inflict lethal damage on a watchful foe[26], but it proved to be very effective when targeting limbs.[28] Yōsuke first uses Gen'yō in Chapter 14 (Episode 7 in the Anime).

Back then, in that period, Jin started using Fūjin and Tachikawa had kind of lost his motivation, so Konami sharpened her blades against those like Kazama to reach all the way to No. 1 Attacker. After that, along with Tamakoma’s separation, she took a step back from Rank Wars, but her solo points have only been surpassed by Tachikawa and Kazama so she’s still No. 3 Attacker. Her Triggers at the time were dual-wielded Kogetsu (fairly short).
