Spinthir (スピンテール, Spintēru ?) is a country in the Neighborhood, and who was at war with Calvaria.[1]
Plot[edit source]
Calvaria vs. Spinthir[edit source]
At least 4 years ago[1] Calvaria, and Spinthir went to war.[1] So Yūgo and Yūma decided to help Raymond's country due to their relationship[2] 4 years before the start of the series.[1]
Eventually Spinthir hired a mercenary who uses a black trigger[3] which made Yūgo tell Yūma to not go beyond the gate[3], however Yūma decided to do that anyways[4] This lead to what should've been Yūma's death[5], but Yūgo sacrifices himself to make a Black Trigger that seals Yūma's dying body inside it[6], and replaces it with a Trion Body.[6] Afterwards, Yūma decides to stay at Calvaria to helps defend the country for the next 3 years[7] where eventually Spinthir abandoned the war due to Calvaria's strong defense.[7]
Combatants[edit source]
Spinthir's Trigger users are easily distinguishable due to their black armor.[8] Like the warriors from Leoforio,[9] soldiers from Spinthir occasionally ride Trion Soldiers (specifically Bamsters) in battle,[8] although they are more frequently seen fighting on their own after breaching the enemy's defenses.[10][4] Spinthir seems to have more Trigger users than Calvaria.[4] All of those introduced thus far dual-wielded their weapons.[10]
