Hiura is a proficient B-rank Sniper who hones her skills under Narasaka, Border's No. 2 Sniper.[1] She ranked 11th in a recent stealth and target acquisition training session, proving herself moderately capable among official agents.[2] Her role in Rank Wars is generally to snipe at enemies that have been cornered by her teammates.[3] She is good at selecting the Trigger most suited to the situation: during the match against Tamakoma Second and Suzunari First she used Lightning to compensate for the low visibility with its high muzzle velocity, and switched to Ibis when Yūma Kuga came close.[4] She is also rather inventive, setting Meteor traps around her sniping position in order to create a diversion and have enough time to change rifle.[5]

Lightning | |

Classification |
Hiura used Lightning in the match against Tamakoma Second and Suzunari First to improve her chances of hitting the opponent in harsh weather. She is moderately skilled with it, as she would have hit an airborne Yūma from approximately 100 meters away despite the low visibility had he not dodged[6] and managed to force the highly mobile Attacker to put up a Shield to approach her, although not all her shots hit it.[7] She was able to quickly aim and fire at two stationary Meteor cubes, exploiting the rifle's high rate of fire to have them detonate almost simultaneously.[8] Hiura is first seen using Lightning in Chapter 96 (Episode 44 in the anime). |

Ibis | |

Classification |
Hiura uses Ibis to snipe at opponents who come within a few dozen meters of her[4] with a bullet that cannot be stopped even by a focused Shield. She is first seen using it in Chapter 98 (Episode 45 in the anime). |

Egret | |

Classification |
Hiura appears to be decently proficient at using Egret, ranking 11th in stealth and target acquisition training.[2] She is first seen using it in Chapter 107 (Episode 66 in the anime). |

Meteor | |

Classification |
Hiura added Meteor to her Trigger set in preparation for the match against Tamakoma Second and Suzunari First in order to demolish the bridge.[5] After her team's first strategy failed, she set immobile Meteor cubes around her location, using them as traps to impede the advance of approaching opponents while also creating chaos through the destruction of buildings. Each cube packed enough power to tear down a wide seven-story building.[9] Hiura is first seen using Meteor in Chapter 98 (Episode 45 in the anime). |

Bagworm | |

Classification |
As a Sniper, Hiura makes frequent use of Bagworm to prevent her position from being detected by Radar. At the start of her unit's match against Suzunari First and Tamakoma Second she however opted not to wear it to move more quickly in the strong wind.[10] Hiura is first seen using Bagworm in Chapter 97 (Episode 44 in the anime). |
