Reiji is a powerful combatant with a wide variety of expertise. He is the only perfect All-Rounder in Border[1][2], as well as the No 1. All-Rounder[3], and is likely to be the agent with the highest amount of points in all of Border.[4] Further proof of his abilities and status in Border is his position as captain of Tamakoma First[5][6], which was referred to as "Border's strongest squad"[7], and that for the purposes of defense missions, he is considered the equivalent of one squad by himself.[8] He was also in charge of coordinating one of the two groups of Snipers during Galopoula's Invasion.[9]
His individual strength is such that he was capable of stalling Hyuse and Viza at the same time and on his own (although Viza did not intervene until the end of the fight)[10], and nearly managed to take out, or at least inflict considerable damage, to the former with Replica's visual support.[11] According to Jin, drawn-out battles are his specialty.[12] Nonetheless, Reiji is very powerful also in an open confrontation, being able to take on multiple Dogs at once by himself.[13] Additionally Reiji is skilled in multiple types of combat.[1][2] He stands out for his personalized Trigger Holder[2], which enables him to store up to 14 Triggers instead of 8.[2] This lets him express his full potential[2] as well as deal with any situation.[2] He was also able to make an educated guess about the nature of Organon's abilities by analyzing it after being defeated.[14][15]

As a Perfect All-Rounder[16][1], and the No. 1 All-Rounder[3], Reiji has potentially scored at least 6,000 points with Raygust.[17] Reiji primarily uses Raygust with either one[2][18][19] or both hands[20], he mainly combines the punch with Thruster[2][18], but not always.[20] Even without using Thruster he was able to destroy the head of two Dogs[20], with Thruster he was able to send a Rabbit flying several meters[21] and break through Lampyris's shield while also damaging Hyuse's trion body.[19] He has also used Thruster to launch Raygust in Blade Mode at a distant target.[22] Reiji has also used Shield Mode to block Lampyris's shards without issue.[23] Reiji first uses Raygust in Chapter 53 (Episode 25 in the anime). | |

As a Perfect All-Rounder[16][1], and the No. 1 All-Rounder[3], Reiji has potentially scored at least 6,000 points with Asteroid[17] Reiji has two firearms loaded with Asteroid bullets: an assault rifle and a minigun.[2] The latter seems to be rather heavy, forcing him to hold it with both hands[24], but has an extremely high rate of fire.[24] Reiji uses it for prolonged attacks without moving from his position[25], deploying a Shield[25], or hides behind Karasuma's Escudo[24] if the enemy returns fire[25][24] He can then switch to the assault rifle to increase his mobility[26], which can help him move his opponent into one of his traps.[27] Reiji first uses Asteroid as a Minigun in Chapter 55 (Episode 25 in the Anime), and as an Assault Rifle in Chapter 58 (Episode 27 in the Anime). | |

As a Perfect All-Rounder[16][1], and the No. 1 All-Rounder[3], Reiji has potentially scored at least 6,000 points with Hound[17] Reiji uses Hound without entering the enemy's field of vision[26]: after interposing a tall obstacle between himself and the opponent[26], he shoots Hound upwards, selecting the enemy's likely position as the target.[26] This way, he can attack protected and unseen.[28] If the opponent is quick enough to evade or dodge the first volley[29], Reiji has already shot a second from another angle.[29] He can also anticipate how the enemy will move, shooting along their path instead of at a single spot[30], and can lay a trap along the path.[31] Reiji first uses Hound in Chapter 62 (Episode 28 in the anime). | |

Daisuke Ashihara: Q: I would like to know the rankings of the Gunners and Shooters like we do with the Attackers and Snipers.
A: From what I remember, The top 3 Shooters, from the top, are Ninomiya, Izumi, and Kako. Top 3 Gunners are Kazuma, Yuba, and Katagiri Top 3 All-Rounders are Reiji, Arashiyama, and Miwa.

Daisuke Ashihara: Q: Exactly what numbers are used to decide the Separate Position ranking and the Solo Overall ranking? Is it the highest solo points? Or the total points of all the weapons?
A: It is the highest of the solo points. The Solo Overall ranking is decided from all the weapon points of all the agents based on who has the highest. From all of the Shooters, Ninomiya's Asteroid points are the highest -> Shooter ranking no.1. From all weapons of all of the agents, Tachikawa's Kogetsu points are the highest -> Solo Overall no.1, like that. If there was a total point ranking then Reiji would probably be no.1.

Daisuke Ashihara: Q: Is defense duty done on shifts?
A: Basically it is a 3 shift system with 5 Squads each. defense duty comes about once every 2 days, but frequently there are "mixed squads" being made up of agents who have free time or want more wages, so the actual frequency of work is about once every 3 days. Also, Reiji, Konami, Jin, and HQ Chief Shinoda each count as 1 squad.

A. Geist cannot be deactivated once it is activated. Full Arms can be deactivated, but since more than three triggers are used at the same time, the trion consumption will be greater than usual.

A: "Radar" is a Standard Equipment Trigger like trion bodies or the Bail Out function. "Spider", a Trigger that uses wires, is an Optional Trigger.

Daisuke Ashihara: Q: In Chapter 30, Arashiyama instructed Satori to "raise Radar's precision by just 10 seconds", does this mean Satori has some kind of option trigger equipped?
A: Precision adjustment is one of Radar's customary functions. Like Bailout, Radar is a "standard trigger", and anyone can use it at any time, but while in use trion is used up little by little (and by raising the precision more trion is used up too), so the outcome is that members with a surplus of trion use it. In this case, Satori was in charge of Radar.
