Black Trigger Retrieval Arc

Ken Satori appears with his Squad, waiting for an opening in Izumi's stance in order to snipe him. When he does make a shot, Izumi blocks it and immediately pinpoints him, causing him to complain about getting lured in.

After Mitsuru Tokieda and Yōsuke Yoneya are forced to bail out, Shūji Miwa remarks it is three vs. two. Satori mutters that he is there too.

Jun Arashiyama contacts Satori, asking where he is, to which Satori replies he is keeping his head down and staying alive. Ai Kitora asks him what he is doing, but Arashiyama asks him to increase the radar accuracy to track Miwa’s movements. Arashiyama observes that Izumi and Miwa are headed for Jin, but that due to Isami Tōma wearing a bagworm, his movements are uncertain.

As Miwa and Izumi aim at Arashiyama, Satori snipes off both of their right hands at the same time. When the mission is called off, Satori asks Arashiyama if he saw his deciding twin-snipe.

Border Enlistment Arc

Satori is partnered with Haruaki Azuma and Tetsuji Arafune to teach c-rankers how to snipe. He directs the c-class on which way to go. He teaches the difference between the classes of sniper weapons available. When Chika Amatori asks if it is okay not to run after shooting, he is surprised and looks over. When Chika blows a hole in the wall, he was stunned into silence.

As Chika profusely apologizes, Satori apologizes back. Azuma promptly verbally piles all responsibility on him, reassuring Chika everything will be fine to which Satori tearfully agrees. Development Chief Kinuta appears to demand what is going on, and Satori claims responsibility. Kinuta head chopps him demanding how he could let defense members destroy the base. As Kinuta calms down at the sight of Chika, Satori is stunned and Azuma explains why.

Large-Scale Invasion Arc

Satori joined forces with Arashiyama, Yūma Kuga, and Tokieda to fight trion Soldiers. He continues fighting the regular trion soldiers after Yūma left. Shortly after Aftokrator retreats, Satori snipes down a trion soldier attacking Kirie Konami. Another promptly counterattacks him, forcing him into the air and off the building. He destroys it in two shots.

He and the rest of his team receive the Outstanding Service Reward.

B-Rank Wars Arc

Satori is one of the two moderators for one of the battles, alongside Osamu Mikumo. He is asked to give a simple analysis of the rank wars. He cheers at Chika destroying the house that Tamakoma-2's opponents are waiting at.
