Ungai Shōkei

Yearning to Be Above the Clouds (雲外 憧憬, Ungai Shōkei ^?) is the second ending theme of the Anime World Trigger. It is performed by "FantasticYouth," preceding Mirai Eigou and first appearing on Episode 86 and ran for the entirety of Season 3. When they released the Single album on December 14th, an English Verison was also released along with the Japanese Verison and their other song, Tōkyō Blue Race (東(とう)京(きょう)青(あお)走(はし), Tōkyō Ao Hashi ^?).

Characters

Unlike every other song, Ungai Shōkei features only one character, Yūma Kuga, who is falling from the sky for most of the duration; toward the end, he opens his eyes and flies off-course, revealing the horizon of Mikado City's skyline behind him.
