    History[edit source]

Kako, along with Azuma, Miwa, and Ninomiya was part of the first generation Azuma Squad.[1]

    Border Enlistment Arc[edit source]

Jin mentioned her as one of the eleven candidates for Jin's Fūjin.[2]

    Large-Scale Invasion Arc[edit source]

She was on time-off during most of the invasion.[3] She appears after the invaders had left, to finish off remaining Trion Soldiers, alongside Kuroe, Konami, and Arashiyama Squad.

    B-Rank Wars Arc[edit source]

    Round 4[edit source]

Kako was one of the commentators alongside Kazama and Ayatsuji. During the battle, she is critical of Ninomiya, accusing him of being too slow to make decisions in battle. Later, she approaches Yūma at the rank wars hall. She offers him a spot on her team, but he declines. However, she expected this.

    Galopoula's Invasion[edit source]

Kako participates in the defence force.

    3. Daisuke Ashihara: Q: Why couldn't upper B-ranks like Ninomiya Squad or Kageura Squad participate in the Second Large-Scale Invasion? Did they travel far away on their time off?
A: It seems I lost the chance to draw it in the story itself so I'll write it here: "HQ Chief Shinoda gave the order that B-rank and lower agents are not allowed to participate in the fight until all members of the team are present". It seems he was worried about agents acting on their own and getting captured by Rabbits. Of course, there are also teams like Kako Squad who was late to the fight because their captain went out on a drive on her time off.
