A Marmod (モールモッド, Mōrumoddo ?) are Trion Soldiers made for battle.[1] Among the Trion Soldiers, the blade the Marmods possess is of the hardest material.[2]
Due having the blades attached to its joints it uses the blades to move as well as to swiftly attack. The attack pattern shown has been simple mainly being stabs and the occasional slash however this might be an uncommon way for them to attack.[2]
Plot
Introduction Arc
Rad Infestation
Marmods come to attack Osamu and Yuma's school.[3]
Osamu rushes in an attempt to save the students that were trapped by two marmods on the 4th floor.[4] Osamu knocked one of the marmods off which let the students escape.[5] However Osamu got bisected not long after so he got knocked back into his real body due to C-ranks not having access to Bail Out.[6]
Yuma however jumps in to save him by using Osamu's trigger instead of his own and defeats the marmods.[7]
Yuma's Flashback
Calvaria sends out marmods to help defend the base along with their trigger users in the war again Spinthir however from what little we have seen, the trion soldiers had limited success.[8]
Large-Scale Invasion Arc
Aftokrator deploys an unknown amount of marmods, it is also unknown how well they did as most shown were in the background or were destroyed.
However during the Invasion, it was revealed that due to Osamu's actions during the Rad Infestation, Aftokrator knew that C-ranks can't use Bail Out and uses that to capture "baby birds".[9]
