Aki Hiyami (氷見 亜季, Hiyami Aki ?) is the Operator of Ninomiya Squad.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Hiyami is a pale young woman with rounded blue eyes and chin-length, platinum blonde hair styled in a bob cut and bangs. In her Trion Body she wears the standard Operator uniform. She has been seen wearing a light-colored, long-sleeved shirt under a black blazer, in addition to high-waisted, wide-legged trousers (or a skirt) and black boots.[8]
Personality[edit | edit source]
Hiyami has a reputation for being level-headed.[9] She used to be introverted and prone to nervousness,[10] which caused her to keep others at a distance;[3] however, thanks to Hatohara,[10] she became warmer[3] and more comfortable in social situations.[10] She is protective of Tsuji, sternly forbidding other girls to mess with him.[1] During combat she is dispassionate and concise.[4] An observant individual, privately doubting her teammates' choices is not off-limits[11] — but just as quick was she to intervene in them, silently guiding her temporary captain to a beneficial decision with the patience needed to drive home a memorable tutorial.[12]
Abilities[edit | edit source]
As the Operator for a former A-rank squad, Hiyami is bound to be very competent at processing and prioritizing information. Further proof of her multi-tasking skills is the fact that, prior to Hatohara's defection, she was in charge of managing as many as four agents. The data she relays can be supplemented by her own insightful analysis:[13][14][15] at the very start of round four she was able to infer that the missing trion signatures belonged to the Attackers of Azuma Squad, as well as to predict that they had added Grasshopper to their Trigger Sets,[2] displaying strategic aptitude with Triggers despite not wielding them herself.
Hiyami appears to be skilled at operating her terminal, researching and sending schematics to her allies promptly[16] and enhancing their vision as necessary.[17]
