    Lead Bullet Users
    A-Rank
    Shūji Miwa
Each shot of Miwa's Lead Bullet assigns a burden of 100 kilograms (220 Pounds).[1] He uses it in conjunction with Asteroid to slow down or restrain an opponent, thanks to its ability to bypass constructs made of pure trion, including Triggers, such as Shields and Alektor's bullets.[2] Due to the Trigger's very low range and bullet speed, it requires the user to be close to the target and possess the agility of an Attacker and the ability to shoot while moving, further highlighting Miwa's skills.[3] Thanks to the customization, Lead Bullet can be used as the handgun's "Exclusive Optional Trigger" (making so it Triggers on the other hand can be used), but he has to manually load it through a separate magazine; additionally it has a high cost, and has a limited number of bullets.[4] Miwa is first seen using Lead Bullet in Chapter 76 (Episode 34 in the anime).
    B-Rank
    Chika Amatori
Following Ema's advice, Chika added Lead Bullet to her Trigger set, becoming more of active piece in combat. By combining it with Lightning, which she uses to snipe at opponents from afar and hinder their movements to support her teammates. Despite the muzzle velocity reduction caused by Lead Bullet, the bullet speed is combat standard thanks to her trion capacity and Lightning's properties.[5] On top of allowing her to overcome her fear of harming others, Lead Bullet prevents Shields from stopping her bullets[6], which is particularly useful with Lightning, as it can be blocked with a normal Shield.[7] The primary downside is that she cannot keep Bagworm active while firing, but her Ibis shots are still more noticeable, and it is better than shooting bullets that will miss.[6] Should an opponent get close to her, however, she can use Lead Bullet in yet another way that is unique to her, in conjunction with Hound. It has low speed and range[8], but since it pursues the target[9], it remains an exceptional defensive measure. Furthermore, due to the number of bullets, it cannot be easily avoided or blocked with a physical barrier.[10] The only way to counter it is to force her to activate her own Shield, since the combo requires her to utilize both the main and the sub.[11] Chika, along with Ema, and Izuho test out Lead Bullet in conjugation with Asteroid, and Ibis.[12] With the former she managed to maintain decent range and speed for up to 30 meters[8], the latter of which creates massive weights upon contact.[13] However, the two combinations were rejected due to being impractical, the first because it left her too exposed[8], the latter because the bullets were extremely slow.[14] Chika is first seen using Lead Bullet in Chapter 119 (Episode 72 in the anime).

    Trivia[edit source]

    • According to Ema, Hatohara was behind the initial discovery of Lead Bullet sniping with Lightning. However, she didn't have the trion necessary to make the strategy viable.
    • Yuma does not use the optional trigger Lead Bullet but emulates it's properties, his method was created upon analysing Miwa's Lead Bullet asteroids and and was named Anchor. He can combine Anchor with Bolt or Chain but can also use it via touch.

    4. Daisuke Ashihara: Q: In Volume 2, before he used Lead Bullet, Miwa loaded a Trigger into the handgun, do Triggers in the shape of other guns have that kind of feature too?
A: Miwa’s Lead Bullet is customized. By loading an external magazine that was created beforehand, Lead Bullet can be used as the "handgun’s exclusive optional trigger" (so you can use a Lead Bullet handgun in the left hand and another Trigger in the right hand). The demerit is that the cost of a magazine is high, and the number of bullets are limited. Other gun Triggers can also use it if they are customized.
