B-Rank Wars Arc[edit | edit source]
Galopoula's Invasion[edit | edit source]
Ratarykov is one of the 6 agents sent to cripple Border's offensive power. During the invasion, he uses an unknown trigger to guide Gatlin and Wen Sō through walls toward the Expedition Ship.
When they are intercepted by the top 4 Attackers, he uses Despinis in conjunction with Gatlin's Vasilissa to attack their foes. He ends up locked in a one-on-one battle with Kazama, and loses.[1][2] He bails out alongside Gatlin. Back to the ship, he comments on Meeden's too perfect countermeasures, but he is interrupted before he can share his conclusion.
Away Mission Test Arc[edit | edit source]
It is revealed that Ratarykov was not his real name, and he is actually Orkan Marduk (オルカーン マーダック, Orukān Mādakku ?), the fourth prince of Galopoula.[3]
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Orkan's name seems to originate from a character from Kiteretsu Daihyakka, with some possible modifications. In his case, his name is an anagram of the character Kaoru Kumada (熊田薫, Kumada Kaoru ?), with an ン character added.
- Although it's probably a coincidence, Marduk is also the name of a Sumerian god.
