    Daisuke Ashihara ((あし)(はら) (だい)(すけ), Ashihara Daisuke ?), born February 13, 1981, is a Japanese manga artist known for creating the Manga series of World Trigger. According to the Volume 8 credits of World Trigger, he is a Hardworking B-rank with glasses (from the flowchart in Volume 7).

    • He was ranked 30th in the first Popularity Poll and 43 in the second one (where he is called Ashihara-Sensei). Additionally, his medicine and his mother were both ranked 130th in the second poll.
    • He has a preference for physical magazines, which partially motivated his decision to choose Jump SQ as the new publisher.[1]
    • Going by the in-universe astrological signs, his zodiac would be Amphibious.[2]
