Urushima was placed in Utagawa's Squad 1. The squad consists of Himself, Ryo Utagawa (captain), Sayako Shiki (operator), Yuma Kuga, and Kotaro Tomoe
After the team selection, Urushima demands compensation for doing well in the selection exams, complaining that it is pointless to participate otherwise. Kido refuses the request, but compromises by offering a daily stipend of 5,000¥ to their commission. Urushima accepts this offer.[1]
In the battle simulation 1 results, their team had won every round.
