A Bander (バンダー, Bandā ?) is a Trion Soldier who specialize in artillery[4], and capturing.[4]
Appearance[edit | edit source]
it was said to be the size of a "Bamster on a diet."[4] on top of that they have somewhat similar appearances as they are both quadruped, with white scales and has rabbit like ears however the bander has what seems to be a longer neck.
the ones sent to mikado have been shown to mostly be white but there has been a few colored ones like the ones shown during the Calvaria vs. Spinthir war.[2]
Abilities[edit | edit source]
The main role of a Bander is to flush out people hiding in buildings, and then capture them[3], It has also been shown ramming into buildings with no issues.[5]
- Artillery: It shoots a beam from its "eye".[5][3] the beam is strong for a single Bander can destroy buildings from far away[3], and there are times where several are lined up, and fire at the enemy.[3]
- Capturing: Banders will capture people who are hiding inside buildings after destroying said building.[3] Presumably it is similar to a Bamster, and will capture people with high Trion alive[6], while if they have low Trion, then only their trion gland will be harvested.[6]
Plot[edit | edit source]
Introduction Arc[edit | edit source]
one of these trion soldiers popped up in the forbidden zone which Chika ran towards.[7] After her phone rang the trion soldier tried to attack and capture her[8] but Osamu stepped in and saved her by killing the trion soldier with an Asteroid and Thruster combo.[9]
Yuma's Flashback[edit | edit source]
3 triggers users from Spinthir rode on these, they were shown to have a different color than the standard white ones in Mikado however it is unknown if that color is common.[2]
Large-Scale Invasion Arc[edit | edit source]
This trion soldier was one of the many types that were sent for the invasion but they were most shown in the background[10] but have also been shown to also be hiding Rabbits[11] like with Bamsters.
