Miwa Squad[edit | edit source]
Yōsuke Yoneya[edit | edit source]
Miwa respects Yoneya as a comrade, but is annoyed by his careless and playful attitude, as he doesn't take his job seriously.[1]
Tōru Narasaka[edit | edit source]
Shōhei Kodera[edit | edit source]
Ren Tsukimi[edit | edit source]
Miwa and Tsukimi's relationship, though much of it is unknown, goes back to the days of the original Azuma Squad. However, it can be seen that he still holds respect towards her as he only cooperates with Tamakoma during Galapoula's Invasion at her suggestion.
Tamakoma Branch[edit | edit source]
Yūichi Jin[edit | edit source]
Miwa has a deep dislike for Jin due to his carefree and cocky nature, and believed that Jin thinks too lightly of Neighbors[2], until learning about the latter's past from Arashiyama.[3] He seems to be warming up to Jin, though, as he accepts to work with him during Galopoula's invasion.[citation needed]
Osamu Mikumo[edit | edit source]
Miwa was at first distrustful of Osamu, theorizing that he was hiding a Neighbor (which turned out to be true) and stalking him in order to prove his theory. Miwa still dislikes Osamu, apparently because he reminds him of himself.[citation needed]
Yūma Kuga[edit | edit source]
Miwa despises Yūma due to the fact that he is a Neighbor. He refused Yūma's offer to find out what country the Trion Soldier who killed his sister came from.[4] After Yūma joins Border, he states that killing Yūma is a violation of rules which is why he no longer attacks the white haired male, showing he has some restraint, but he still doesn't like him.
Tachikawa Squad[edit | edit source]
Kei Tachikawa[edit | edit source]
Miwa dislikes Tachikawa because of his assertive and easygoing nature, similar to Jin's.[5]
Azuma Squad[edit | edit source]
Haruaki Azuma[edit | edit source]
Azuma was Miwa's former captain, and they have a good relationship, akin to a father and his son.[citation needed] Azuma is seen greeting Miwa, to where the younger ignores other people to respond, and he adds the honorific -san when talking to Azuma.[6] Azuma calls him Shūji.
Nozomi Kako[edit | edit source]
They used to be teammates.[citation needed] He seems to be annoyed of her playful and carefree nature, as when she tells him she wants to play with him like Yoneya is doing with Inukai, he bluntly tells her to play with Yoneya instead.[7]
Masataka Ninomiya[edit | edit source]
The two used to be teammates. Their overall relationship is unknown, but they are close enough that Ninomiya calls him Shūji.[8]
Arashiyama Squad[edit | edit source]
Jun Arashiyama[edit | edit source]
Miwa started by adding the honorific -san to Arashiyama, however when heated he is quick to drop the honorific. After hearing about Jin's past from Arashiyama, Miwa spirals into a period of cognitive dissonance. However, it seems that Arashiyama is watching over him as he eavesdrops on Miwa's conversation with Ninomiya following Galapoula's Invasion and smiles when Miwa states that he agreed to work with Tamakoma.[8]
