    Background[edit | edit source]

    At some point Kinuta got married[1], and had a daughter who is now in middle school.[2] an unknown amount of time later having a kid, Kinuta would get divorced because he forced his then wife and daughter to move back to her parent's house. without consulting her.[3]

    He would join border right when it became public 4 years ago[4] after getting scouted by Masamune Kido.[1] He would go on to develop multiple of Border's basic systems[1][5] including the gate guidance beacon system[1][5], the virtual battle mode[6], and would mass develop triggers.[1][5]

    Introduction Arc[edit | edit source]

    Kinuta states that Osamu should be fired as he committed two series rule violations in a single day, and since he can't obey the rules they should get rid of him.[7] He would then back off after Jin asks Kido to leave Osamu's punishment to him.[8]

    After Jin finds out about the Rads, Kinuta analyzes it, and have it show up on Border's Radar.[9]

    After the Yūma Kuga vs. Miwa Squad Fight, Kido wants Jin to kill Yūma and take his black trigger, a decision Kinuta supports.[10]

    Black Trigger Capture Arc[edit | edit source]

    Kinuta was happy with the Away Team bringing back new unknown triggers[11]

    Kinuta gets angry at Shinoda for siding with Tamakoma in defending Yūma[12], but then backs off after stating Shinoda himself would personally join the fight if it kept continuing.[13] Kinuta would then become mad at Jin when he came to negotiate[14], he would back off again after Jin offers up Fūjin as part of the negitaton.[15]

    Border Enlistment Arc[edit | edit source]

    Kinuta shows up angry questioning why there is a hole in border's base[16], however he would have a 180 when it was revealed Chika did it[2], showing off his weakness for girls who remind him of his daughter.[2]

    Kinuta wanted to demands Yūma to give information about nearby countries due to being in Border[17]

    After the meeting, it was stated that Kinuta was very happy as the diagram given by Replica was worth 30 away missions.[18]

    Large-Scale Invasion Arc[edit | edit source]

    Kinuta would work with Fuyushima before the Second Large-Scale Invasion started by setting unmanned traps[19], in addition to reinforcing the walls.[20]

    Kinuta with the rest of the top brass, holds a press conference after the Second Large-Scale Invasion.[21]
