Kako Squad (加古 隊, Kako-Tai ?) is the A-Rank #6 squad in Border. It is led by Nozomi Kako.

Uniform[edit | edit source]
Kako Squad's uniform is black collared jumpsuit with a purple motif. While the color scheme is consistant between all squad members, each member has a different variant of uniform. For example, Kuroe's variant contains short sleeves, shorts, long gloves, puffy shoulders, and a Kogetsu sheath strapped to her back. On the other hand, Kako's uniform variant contains half sleeves, full-length pants, and no gloves.
Emblem[edit | edit source]
Kako Squad's emblem is a butterfly, with the letter "K" enscribed into the lower right quadrant of the butterfly's wing. This emblem carries two primary meanings. For one, the letter "K" refers to how all of Kako Squad's members have surnames that start with the letter K. Additionally, the butterfly symbolizes the grace and majesty of this squad's fighting style.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
Kako has attempted to recruit other members of Border whose names begin with K, including Yūma Kuga, Kirie Konami, Masato Kageura, Ai Kitora, Sōya Kazama, and Motokichi Kinuta.[2]
